Hamburg, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto is poised
to complete his move from Bayern Munich to fellow Bundesliga outfit Hamburg.
The versatile 34-year-old rejected the offer of a new one-year from Bayern to
move on, having also been a target for big-spending English club Manchester
City.
The South American told the Tageszeitung newspaper: "Money is not the most
important thing. I don't have any desire to live in England.
"Hamburg is perfect for me and my family. HSV is a big club with a good
structure and they are playing in Europe. Also, my children don't have to learn
a new culture.
"They have offered me two years plus the option for a third. Subsequently, I
will be employed as a scout for South America for Hamburg."
