ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -The agent for Chris Duhon says the point guard has reached an agreement with the Orlando Magic for a $15 million, four-year deal.

Agent Kevin Bradbury told The Associated Press on Tuesday the chance to play for a championship contender was enough to sway Duhon to the Magic. Duhon will backup starter Jameer Nelson.

Duhon spent the last two seasons starting for the New York Knicks. He averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 assists per game last season.

According to the Sporting News, Duhon will sign a four-year deal worth $15 million to back up Jameer Nelson. Duhon played his first four seasons with Chicago and spent the past two years with the Knicks. He averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 assists for New York last season and owns career averages of 7.7 points and 5.1 assists in 446 NBA games.
